Michael
Schumacher says it is unlikely that MotoGP
superstar Valentino Rossi will move to
Ferrari. |
The
Rossi rumours continue to be big news
in Formula One but Schumacher is not convinced
the Italian will make a permanant switch
from two wheels to four.
|
Michael
said "To be honest I would say that
it is pretty unlikely,"
|
The
German also again commented on his possible
retirement, saying that he will continue
to drive as long as he can challenge for
the sports' top honours.
|
He
added "It has not reached the stage
where I think 'hey I am not as good as
these youngsters',"
|
"I
want to be competing at the top and not
just a run-of-the-mill driver."
|
Schumacher's
team-mate Felipe Massa has been hard at
work in the off-season and will no doubt
be keen to show he deserves a Ferrari
drive in 2007. |
The
young Brazilian is confident the team
are ready for the upcoming season and
is happy with the overall package from
the team. |
He
said: "I am convinced we have a strong
package. It will be important to start
scoring points as soon as the first race.
I believe it will be possible to win races
with our car."
