Michael Breaks Fiorano Track Record
Michael broke  Ferrari's  Fiorano track record today, on his second day of running in the F2004 car.
The German,  who  gave  the  new  Ferrari  car  its  first  run yesterday under the watchful eye of the team's senior staff, clocked  today  a  time  of  56.279 - half a tenth of a second faster   than   the   previous   record   of   56.338 ,   set   by Schumacher  in  the  F2003-GA  in  march  last  year.
Michael said  "The evolution  continues,  Every  year  we are more precise, a little closer to perfection. Everyone has done a great job  in  achieving this step up in quality and I have no worries  at the moment.  This  car gives us  a realistic chance of fighting for the title."
Schumacher  continues  testing  at  Fiorano  tomorrow, again at the wheel of the F2004.
