Michael
Schumacher hurt his right knee on 2 November while
playing in a football match with a team in Echichens.
He had to leave five minutes before the end of the
first half-time.

|
"I
left the field early to avoid taking any risks,"
said Michael. "My knee hurt a little after the
match but now it feels much better. I am ready to
play once again."

Now
it seems that this light injury is taking a little
bit more time to heal than expected. The six-time
world champion had to cancel his practice session
with the Manchester team. His spokesperson said: "He
likes football and he wants to play without any restrictions."
The spokesperson also added that it is not a serious
problem and that Michael will be fine for his 2004
F1 season.

The
next important meeting for the German ace will be
on 11 December, when he will drive his Ferrari F2003-GA
against a Eurofighter airplane of the Italian Air
Force in acceleration runs competition.
