Michael testing at Mugello
Michael Schumacher  was  back  to  work  at  Mugello today. The five-time  world  champion  didn't  waste  any  time and was the fastest driver on  the track  by almost half a second.
Badoer covered  a total  of 81 laps, the quickest in 1.22.468. M.Schumacher  did  129 laps  with  a best  time  of 1.22.001, getting  through  the  planned   programme   one  day  ahead of schedule.
Ferrari   worked   mostly   on  tyre  evaluation   along   with Bridgestone  but  also  continued  testing   electronics   and chassis  set-ups.  Felipe  Massa  will  replace  M.Schumacher tomorrow  to  work  alongside  Luca Badoer.
Michael told Autosport  "We would like to do as much as we can  because  we  really  want  a fifth constructors' title in a row  for  Ferrari .  I'm  no t particularly   concerned   for the  next  race,  but I'll never forgive myself if we don't do all  the  things  we could do. We just have to do all the work we  need  to  do  for  Suzuka."
