Ferrari
concluded their testing session
for this week at the Fiorano
circuit today, where World Champion
Michael Schumacher had an intensive
day of development work behind the
wheel of the F2003-GA.
|
|
Michael
focused on development work with the Bridgestone
tyres, the German covering a total of
133 laps - 12 of them on the short version of
the track-with a best time of 56.974. The Fiorano
lap record, set by Schumacher earlier this year, is
56.338.

|
The
team did not report any problems arising during
the day.

Michael
said "I am confident for the
British GP, I am sure that will we do
well at Silverstone. I heard about
people saying that there is
a crisis at Ferrari but
that is not the case. We are
calm and working well. I am
convinced that when something is
not going well we should
not try to find only one cause.
We know that we can improve our engine
and our chassis and
that's our main goal
today. We have no problems with
Bridgestone and I am sure that they will
respond in the best possible
way."
