Michael Dismisses Hill Comments
Damon Hill  (who  won the  world title with Williams in 1996) told the Sun "I have  been studying Michael very closely and I  honestly  feel  he  could  pack  it  all  in  at the end of the season,  Michael  has  been  used  to having his achievements cheered  so  the  boos  he  received in Austria (when Ferrari ordered  Rubens  Barrichello  to  allow his teammate through to win) and in subsequent  races  must start making him think, 'what's the point in carrying on?'.
Michael  has  dismissed  a suggestion  by former rival  D. Hill that he may be considering retirement at the end of the year.

He said  " Everybody  knows  Damon is  my best friend so he should  know  what  I’m  doing  very  well.  I  didn’t know he wanted  to come back and for  me  to  retire!!! "

Ross  Brawn ( Ferrari Technical Director )  said   " I  cannot imagine  him  stopping  for a while yet. He is now reaping the rewards  of  his  investment  in  the  team  over  the  last few years. It's hard to imagine he would have any  reason to stop. From  what  I  see, Michael  can  carry  on  for  many years."
