Just
hours after celebrating coming second
in yesterday's Monaco Grand Prix,
Michael Schumacher was already on
a flight to the United States. Teammate
Rubens Barrichello along with test drivers
Luca Badoer and Luciano Burti will conduct
the testing work ahead
of round eight in Canada while the
triple world champion takes
the opportunity to relax a little
in one of his favourite
countries before preparing for Montreal.
Added to all this was last Saturday's
celebrations when he reached a landmark
in his career as
a Ferrari driver, achieving
the milestone of competing in 100 grand
prix for the Scuderia.
Working for such a long time
together shows great mutual trust. So
for it has been a great
time and I am looking forward to
the next few years together. he
said before putting on his dinner
jacket and heading off
for the traditional black
tie evening in Monaco. Very
often, even a second place can be
very important and knowing that the Ferrari was the
quickest car on the track shows there is no
reason to be pessimistic. Basically, the
most important thing is to consolidate the lead in
the Championship.
