2002 May News     Tuesday May 21st, 2002 Schumacher family to stay in Western Switzerland Schumacher family  will  be  staying  in  their  current  home in  the  west  of   Switzerland  after  his  plans  to  move  to Wolfhalden   in    the  country’s   east,   were   blocked   by environmental    groups. The family wanted to move to Wolfhalden in the eastern part of Switzerland to give their children,  Gina-Maria and  Mick, a German - language education. The area where they live now is French - speaking.  A  statement  released by the mayor of Wolfhalden on Tuesday also expressed regret. Schumacher's plans called for a complex with horse stables, a fitness club and swimming pool on a wooded hilltop.
